Sanandco has started from scratch with the development of MonitorMe. We wanted to design and develop a product of the highest possible quality with the lowest practicable cost. The device had to be simple to use, completely reliable, designed and manufactured in accordance with Medical Device Regulations. On completion the device has to be affordable to the NHS.

We found partners to help us achieve these objectives and worked in partnership on a time charge basis to identify the best company and person in the team to overcome problems as and when they arose. Our whole effort has been devoted to serious engineering and research. Our unique contractual arrangement has avoided wasted resource debating contractual responsibilities and the need for contract modifications typical of any iterative development project.

This collaborative approach will be transferred into the commercialization phase of MonitorMe to ensure outputs are accurately tailored to our customers’ needs.
